Formerly Purewasher - We removed all dyes and fragrances to claim the “all natural” label. We have also changed from shipping in reclosable bags to plastic bottles! Smelly Washer Cleaner is the only available washing machine cleaner that is all natural. It is also the only washing machine cleaner available that will also eliminate odor-causing mold spores from towels and clothing after you clean your washer!

The cleaner is used by adding a small amount (1 tablespoon normally suffices) to a hot setting in your washer and allowing it to soak and/or complete the cycle.

To remove fungus odor from towels and clothing use just one tablespoon of cleaner instead of detergent. Wash with hot water and soak for 2 hours. Rewash the load with detergent and they will smell like new!

    Will this cleaner clean the rubber gasket around the front of the washer that seals tightly to the door? Mine is full of mold spots.

    Wendy - Smellywasher will remove mold from the door gasket of your front load washer. The best way to use it is to fill a spray bottle with hot water and a teaspoon of smellywasher. Spray the affected areas liberally and allow them to soak for several hours. Staining caused by mold spots may require several (1-3?) and even scrubbing to remove.
